Education and Experience

I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz and my masters degree in Counseling Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology ( I describe my therapeutic approach as "eclectic," in that I incorporate many different treatment modalities. I feel that rapport and "fit" are the most vital components of successful therapy. I encourage my clients to take an active role in their treatment and I ask for ongoing feedback about how counseling is working and not working for them.

I earned my certificate in Coaching at iPEC in 2016 and incorporate these skills when appropriate.

I have experience working with many types of clients and have worked in private practice settings, non-profit agencies, elementary schools, junior colleges, group homes, and on a suicide and crisis hotline.
